Detroit Chassis Expands Its BAMM Program

Detroit Chassis announced today that its Business Applications in Manufacturing Management program has been expanded to include a summer session and will start Monday, July 16th, 2007 and conclude Friday, August 17th, 2007. High school students (11th and 12th graders) belonging to DCP families will have the opportunity to apply for this session. Applications will be available the week of April 2nd, 2007. Two individuals will be chosen to participate in this paid program.
· The criteria for applying is as follows:
· High School 11th and 12th graders
· 3.0 grade point average or better
· 95% attendance rating verified by the most recent report card

The selection process will be conducted in June. All applicants will be interviewed and required to submit a current report card along with the application.

The program’s objectives will involve giving students an overview of what it takes to operate a manufacturing business. They will also be given the opportunity to learn:
· Business Survival Tactics (Surviving in a Business Environment)
· How to Introduce Yourself
· Business Communications
· Presentation Skills

All participants will participate in DCP’s performance review process.
