DCP Welcomes Vincent Lenoir

Detroit Chassis announced the selection of Vincent T. Lenoir, to the position of Engineering & Safety Group Leader, effective May 7, 2007. He will report to William Kirchmeier, VP Operations. Vincent comes to Detroit Chassis with 21 years of industry experience in automotive, aerospace, chemical, printing, consumer products, and promotional products. He earned a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA.
Vincent has extensive training in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Project Management.
As a Six Sigma Black Belt, he has led and executed manufacturing support projects addressing equipment performance, product quality, and production volume resulting in savings of millions of dollars in labor, equipment, and production costs. Vincent has also coached and mentored Green Belt and Black Belt candidates who were pursuing Six Sigma Certification. Vincent is widely known for his community involvement. He has served as: an advisor for Junior Achievement; tutored Elementary, Middle, and High School students in Mathematics, Science, and English; president of a 100-member church choir and Head of Service for his church’s Usher Ministry
During his spare time, Vincent enjoys running, weight training, traveling, reading, and writing.
