Business Applications in Manufacturing Management (BAMM!) Program
5/11/2007

Detroit Chassis celebrated the accomplishments of Business Applications in Manufacturing Management students Kiel Ethridge and Quentin McDonald who successfully completed program requirements last month. Both Kiel and Quentin are 12th graders at Detroit’s Davis Aerospace Technical High School and will be graduating in June. They participated in an 11-week program that provided instruction in 12 areas and gave the students hands-on experience in what it takes to operate a manufacturing/assembly business.

“Thank you Detroit Chassis for providing such a rewarding opportunity for high school students. I will never forget the lessons I learned. All program module champions were outstanding instructors who really cared about making sure we understood the world of work. I look forward to sharing my experiences with other students and I hope that this program is around for a long time so that others will get the same chance you afforded me” stated Quentin McDonald.

Kiel and Quentin were outstanding students who showed up for work daily ready to add value. After completion, school officials and parents were invited to a presentation where students shared their learning experiences.

“We were excited about offering BAMM internships to Kiel Ethridge and Quentin McDonald because they were outstanding students with impeccable character. They completed each module though trying with enthusiasm and vigor, and they willingly participated in other activities during their internship. We have high hopes for them and we trust that they will accomplish every goal that they set out to achieve” stated Linda Ratliff, Customer/Community Relations Group Leader & Chaplain

Kiel and Quentin have both been accepted by Michigan State and we wish them well as they advance to their college career.
