DCP Welcomes Julie Mallory
6/8/2007
Julie Mallory has been selected for the position of Materials Group Leader at Detroit Chassis, effective May 28, 2007.
Julie recently retired from Ford Motor Company with 30 years automotive experience, including extensive background in all aspects of material controls. Other areas of experience include internal control, integrated systems knowledge, engineering change, prototype manufacturing, supplier relations and cost accounting.
Julie’s most recent assignment involved the establishment of processes and metrics to demonstrate inventory controls (required by Sarbanes-Oxley legislation) at all of the Ford North American plants, including Detroit Chassis.
Julie operates with a mind-set that success is heavily dependent on engagement of the experts/team – those individuals that perform the job or are affected by the process – to ensure buy-in and sustain-ability.
The Vision, Mission and Values presented to Mallory by Detroit Chassis Company intrigued her, as these are closely aligned with her philosophies.
Julie has one daughter, Shelby, who is 16-years old and a high-school junior at Walled Lake Western high school.
She serves as a religious education catechist at her church and looks forward to other opportunities for community involvement at DCP.
Julie has a summer cottage and enjoys boating, water skiing, spending time with family, traveling, and entertaining in her home. DCP welcomes Julie Mallory to the team!
