Safety Update

The Safety Committee reviewed findings in the Safety meeting Wednesday, August 15th.

The report cited several areas for continuous improvement. Vincent Lenoir, Safety Engineer and Maceo Russell, Safety Coordinator, met with Maintenance and Operations to begin correcting all areas of concern, most of which were abated during the initial visit.

The plan communicated in the Safety meeting indicated that all areas noted would be completely addressed by the end of this month.

We expect MIOSHA to return for a reinspection in September.

A copy of the MIOSHA report has been posted outside of the Safety Office for viewing.
