DCP Family Christmas Celebration
1/4/2008

More than 250 attendees gathered at the plant Saturday, December 15, 2007 as Detroit Chassis Associates and families celebrated the holiday season with an old fashioned indoor party complete with clowns, face painters, DJ, bounce and slide, and an obstacle course.

DCP families enjoyed fun, food and fellowship at the spectacular event. Michael Guthrie, President and CEO addressed everyone and thanked all DCPers for their commitment and dedication to Detroit Chassis Mission, Vision and Values.

The event was catered by Chef Steven Wimbley and students from Highland Park’s Career Academy. The bounce and slide floatable and obstacle course were provided by LaSalle’s Arrangements and DJ services were provided by Detroit Chassis’ own Leo Sanders.

“It was such a joy to watch the faces of the children light up as they participated in activities and played together” stated, Linda Ratliff, project lead. One young man stated that this was the best event he attended at Detroit Chassis. Each child 14 and younger received a present from company leaders.

A hearty thank you is extended to the planning committee who worked tirelessly to implement a stellar event for Detroit Chassis Families in such a short time: Carmen Bass, Deborah Jones, Katherine Hendrson, Karen Smith-Page, Quentin Harris, Brandon Ruffin, Sharon Humphrey, Shawn Duff, Janice Jones, Harvey Jackson, Betty Jones, Darin Burns, Fabian Hill, Nadine Anderson, Joe Pino, Stacey Davis, Dre Hammond, Demetrius Williams, Audrey Snipes-Minto and William Kirchmeier.
