WE ARE COMMITTED TO EMBRACING CHANGE BY LEARNING AND GROWTH

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Chassis LLC, an automotive manufacturing company of niche vehicles and RV chassis announced that environment friendly launch activities would continue at DCP. The closing out of the 2006 model year (MY) brought changes to an additional 32-hexavalent chromium free components to DCP in November ‘06. Ford Motor Company’s 2006 environmental initiatives included the elimination of hazardous hexavalent chromium finish from all their component parts. This requirement drove complex changes to DCP’s processes in the final quarter of 2006. In depth process validation is taking place on an on-going basis to ensure the product continues to meet world champion performance.

The environmentally friendly F-53 theme continues through MY 2007 design. Improvements have been made to the emissions system on the F-53 chassis, reducing the amount of harmful exhaust emitted. Increasing the precious metal loading in the catalytic converter significantly decreases the amount of emissions to the environment.

The 2007 MY requirements were seamlessly integrated behind the close out of the 2006 MY. A gauntlet of various internal and external audits were passed to ensure customer expectation for the 2007 MY product would be met. “Okay to Ship”, was successfully achieved 12-12-2006. “Once again, it has been a pleasure working with your Team. I believe your facility is a prime example of how people can make things happen. We were once again able to complete this program and engineering timing and delivered Great and SAFE product for engineering to test, and prove out.”

“KUDOS” to you and your Team...Thank You
