WE ARE COMMITTED TO RESPECT THROUGH DIVERSITY AND COMMUNITY

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Chassis LLC, an automotive manufacturing company of niche vehicles and RV chassis is proud to announce the success of its 2006 United Way contribution campaign coordinated by Ms. Callie Kendrick, Resource Coordinator, Linda Ratliff, Customer/Community Relations Group Leader & Chaplain, and the 2006 United Way sub-committee.

We are pleased to announce that we raised a total of $21,146. This year’s giving represents a 9% increase over last year’s.

“DCP associates continuously demonstrate their compassion and commitment to each other and our community. Thank you for your generous support of our 2006 United Way effort,” stated Michael Guthrie, President & CEO.

Sharon Humphrey, Operations Group Leader was our first drawing winner and took home a 19” colored TV. We also enjoyed fresh donuts and cider that were served by Tameka Lewis and Toshalyn Erve.

Weekly drawings for prizes were conducted and the following items were given away:

· A voucher for two round-trip NW airline tickets

· Detroit Piston’s Ersa Club dinning and VIP game tickets

· Detroit Lion’s VIP tickets

· A $50 Target gift card

· Two $50 Mobile gas cards

· Five Star Movie Theatre tickets.

Our Grand drawing was conducted Wednesday, October 25th during afternoon break in the Family Room and Chuck Clifton was the blissful winner of the voucher for two round-trip Northwest Airline tickets to any location within the 48 contiguous United States valid through December 2007.

“My wife hasn’t told me where we are going yet but we are considering a location in Florida like Key West or Orlando. This is a great opportunity for us and we love to travel. Thank you Northwest Airline, United Way and Detroit Chassis for making this possible,” stated Chuck Clifton, Materials Group Leader. Congratulations Chuck and thank you for supporting United Way!

A special thank you is extended to our sub-committee who helped to make this year’s contribution campaign a success: Carmen Bass, Stacey Davis, Willie Harris, Victoria Harris, Jimmy Perryman and Audrey Snipes.
