WE ARE COMMITTED TO EMBRACING CHANGE BY LEARNING AND GROWTH

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Chassis LLC, an automotive manufacturing company of niche vehicles and RV chassis announced that Carolynn Mackson, Quality Group Leader had received orders and would be leaving the United States for a Tour of Duty in Iraq.

Mackson reminded DCP associates at a small gathering to recognize her birthday of her strong faith in God. She stated that the blood of Jesus Christ is covering her, and that she is going to Iraq with more than 20 years of extensive military training and experience.

Mackson came to DCP from FMC with 21 years of cumulative experience in Quality Systems, Operations, and Supplier Development. Her charge was to lead DCP’s team to “ZERO DEFECTS” through implementing a robust Quality Operating System.

She successfully led the creation of DCP’s plan to achieve zero defects; this was our own “War on Defects”. Carolynn’s first step in this battle was to ensure DCP contained any and all issues. She drove us towards using customer warranty data in these efforts and set up several key processes that would ensure we executed our plans. Her ultimate goal was to ensure operators had full ownership of quality in their respective area. If this battle can be won, the war for quality is ours for certain. Early End of Line (EOL) First Time Through Quality (FTTQ) results have indicated that we are on track to deliver world champion results.

All associates participated in a moment of silent prayer for Mackson during the Town Hall meeting in October. “Carolynn Mackson was a change agent. She reached out and engaged us where we were and motivated us to make our best...BETTER,” stated Michael Guthrie, President and CEO. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with her as she embarks upon this journey. We will miss her greatly and we look forward to her safe return.
