A Successful 2006 Summer Celebration

WE ARE COMMITTED TO WIN/WIN OUTCOMES THROUGH TEAMWORK

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Chassis LLC, an automotive manufacturing company of niche vehicles and RV chassis announced today that its ‘06 Summer Celebration conducted last Friday, July 14, 2006 at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio was a roaring success!

Associates and their families gathered at the Lynch Rd. facility at 7:00 AM to present Michael J. Guthrie, President and CEO with an “Excellence Award” followed by a moving and high-spirited prayer offered by Ms. Callie Kendrick, Resource Coordinator. Later, associates piled in vehicles and customized motor coaches provided by Plaza Travel in Detroit, Michigan and took off for the two-hour road trip to Cedar Point.

Hilda (Dee Dee) Hankton, Quality Engineer and Linda Ratliff, Customer/Community Relations Group Leader and Chaplain arrived early to greet DCP associates as they entered the park and took pictures. All associates and guests were treated to a scrumptious down-home lunch prepared by catering staff that included: Fried Chicken, Johnsonville Bratwurst, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Ice Cream and Beverages in a secluded area near the beach set aside specifically for DCP. Associates enjoyed riding the roller coasters and experienced short lines for all of the rides.

“It was very nice for the company to provide the trip to Cedar Point for our families. We really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to next year’s celebration. In fact, this event has sparked some ideas and I plan to submit a proposal in preparation for next year’s event.” Quinton Harris, Facilities Associate.

We could not have asked for a better day. The weather was a perfect 90+ degrees throughout a greater portion of the day. The evening brought a brief downpour that helped to cool everyone off just in time to load back up and head for Detroit.
