DCP Shatters its Production Record

WE ARE COMMITTED TO WIN/WIN OUTCOMES THROUGH TEAMWORK

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Chassis LLC, an automotive manufacturing company of niche vehicles and RV chassis, announced today that they produced 58 units Monday, May 8th. “This is particularly note worthy because theoretically our line capacity will not exceed 57 units per day. Our associates went above and beyond to achieve this result.” Stated, Michael Guthrie, Company President and CEO.

On the morning of the 8th, members of the Operations Team picked an area of the line to support. Through the use of fresh eyes and the incentive plan, both downtime and defects were minimized.

The result was a better-than-perfect build!

Achieving the (58) unit production build proves that our associates are striving for world champion status. Attendance was outstanding on Monday, and every associate double-checked their work to ensure defects did not make it off the end of the line.

Monday’s FTTQ (First Time Through Quality) percentage was 97%.

Looking forward, the possibilities are limitless. If DCP can break the 57 paradigm, what other corporate paradigms can DCP break?
