WE ARE COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE BY ADDING VALUE

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Chassis LLC, an automotive manufacturing company of niche vehicles and RV chassis, announced today that its partnership with the Children’s Aid Society of Southeastern Michigan now includes the assignment of an additional resource coordinator.

The Children’s Aid Society of Southeastern Michigan is the oldest child assistance agency in Michigan. It has evolved over time to meet the changing needs of the children, youth and families and communities that they serve. Today, their program services range from helping young children learn how to get along to helping young adults learn how to retain jobs.

Their passionate commitment to improving the lives of children in Southeastern Michigan has not changed in 140 years. The services are designed to help children and parents deal with difficult personal and social issues by providing support that helps each family member. They help to create a foundation for a better and healthier community by building strength with the family.

Services offered are innovative and humanistic, with each individual and problem viewed as unique. Through the efforts of caring staff and the guidance of the board of directors, programs help children and parents deal with difficult personal and social issues by providing support for each family member.

Our EAP program includes an on-site Resource Coordinator assigned by CAS, whose responsibility is to access the needs of our associates and connect those needs with available resources. Recently, Mr. Earnest M. Hatcher, Sr. was assigned to assist in this area during Ms. Callie’s absence. He has been with DCP for approximately 2 weeks now and maybe you have seen him around but just in case you haven’t been formerly introduced allow me to do the honors.

Mr. Hatcher is a graduate of the Detroit Business College. He participated in ministerial studies at the Southern Baptist Seminary and graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary. He continued his education and graduated from Wayne County Community College, where he received an Associates Degree in Mental Health.

Mr. Hatcher received a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University.

He also received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Faith Evangelistic Seminary. He is presently the facilitator of the Purposeful Parenting Program (P3), where he provides parenting skills to parents whose children have been placed in foster care. He also facilitates a boy’s group called ‘Friends.’ In addition to, but not separate from his role as a social worker, he is the Pastor of the New Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church, where he has served for 26 years. He is a lifetime active member of the NAACP, True Family Value Ministry, and Co-Chairman of the American Clergy Leadership Conference.

All associates are encouraged to stop by and personally introduce yourself to Mr. Hatcher and welcome him to DCP.
