Anderson L. Dobbins, Jr. is the VP of Business Planning and Development and is responsible for providing entrepreneurial leadership to profitable new business opportunities, proposing business plans and strategies, managing customer relations, overseeing sales efforts and leading new business launches.

Anderson has over 30 years experience in the automotive and connector industries. His professional experience includes entrepreneurial ownership as well as executive and key leadership roles in Business Planning and Development, Operations, Manufacturing, Plant Management, Engineering Management, Program Management, and Product Design and Development. Anderson has a diverse and keen array of business skills with strong financial acumen and he is recognized for his extraordinary ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to accomplish more with less.

Anderson joined Detroit Chassis as the Vice President of Operations in 2010 and established a flexible operation that adjusted quickly to shifts in market demand, and demonstrated, year over year improvement in EBITDA. In his brief tenure as the VP of Business Planning and Development, Anderson successfully expanded Detroit Chassis’ value proposition and revenue base to include certification as a Tier 1 automotive supplier, a new assembly operation in Avon, Ohio and multiple new product offerings.

Anderson holds a Masters of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University and a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
