Brothers Michael and Carlton Guthrie have owned businesses in metal stamping, steel processing, manufacturing, sequencing and engineering as first- and second-tier suppliers to the automotive industry since 1985. Their businesses have been recognized as Supplier of the Year by The National Minority Business Development Council and Michigan Manufacturer of the Year by Impressions 5 Museum. The Guthries have been recognized as Entrepreneurs of the Year by Ernst & Young and the Greater Lansing Business Monthly. They were also ranked in Inc. magazine’s Inner City 100 Fastest Growing Companies list in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
